The name of the album is Blueprint, it’s called The Blueprint because it’s the things that I've seen and shaped me as the person that I am today. Soul music is the backdrop because that's what I was raised on. My mom and pop had a big record collection. They had crates and crates of records and they had their names on them. They didn’t share records; they had separate names on their records- like “this my records”. That just takes me back to that time - that soul music. So I use a lot of soul music samples and it is just really more introspective - I like it. If you listen to any one of my albums, I had a lot going on so I had a lot to write about. I went into the studio one day, I made seven songs. That goes to show you - my music is what’s going on in my life. One song is called H to the Izzo that might be the first single. It's just life in general so anything you know that’s going on in the past year is going to be included in that album. More than anything I just love the reception of an album.
